Camila Rodrigues de Souza

I graduated in advertising at the University of São Paulo and worked at FCB Brasil as art director for six years. There I created campaigns that make me proud for clients such as NIVEA, Nestlé, Oreo, Brastemp and Zap Imóveis. On October 2016, I joined Lew'Lara\TBWA as senior art director. Since then I have worked in exciting projects for Monange, Nissan, Gatorade, and Submarino among other brands.

Co-Creator of ParalElas
I, Judith Belfer and Clara Barbosa (director and assistant director at Spray Films) created the project “ParalElas” to give women more voice and inspiration. The project based on Instagram is a collaborative profile where we share stories of real women seeking equality.

As a mentor of the “Tapa no Portifa” project, I guide an aspirant art director on how to upgrade her portfolio and improve her chances of getting into the advertising industry.

Illustrator
Since I can remember, I have loved to draw. I believe in art's purpose to represent what we want to see in the world, that is why strong female figures are the theme I portray the most. I have created for the Join The Uproar initiative and became part of the Women Who Draw community in 2016. Lately, I have drawn for my project Paralelas. There my characters illustrate shocking statics we aspire to change.
